The Hear Kenya Initiative is the Baker Institute’s most comprehensive international program, focused on expanding access to hearing healthcare and Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) services for children and families across Kenya. Through long-term partnerships and sustained investment, this initiative works to build local capacity, strengthen clinical systems, and support families at every stage of their journey.
In collaboration with organizations including Project CURE, Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy, and MED-EL Hearing Healthcare Alliance, the Hear Kenya Initiative supports the work of Kenya’s leading ENT surgeons, audiologists, and speech-language professionals.
